NUNU Radio Media is proud to congratulate Patricia Fields, host of Analyze This, on her nomination for Best Lead Actress at this year’s AUDELCO Awards, one of the most respected honors in Black theatre.
Patricia earned the nomination for her performance in Home Is Sweet Sorrow, written and directed by Anne L. Thomas-Scretching. Her portrayal has drawn praise from audiences and now from one of theatre’s most respected institutions. The nomination is a well-deserved tribute to her craft.
Listeners already know Patricia’s talent. Every week on Analyze This, she brings sharp insight, warmth and a commanding presence to the NUNU Radio airwaves. Seeing that same gift honored on stage makes this a proud moment for the whole NUNU Radio family.
About the AUDELCO Awards
AUDELCO, short for the Audience Development Committee, was founded in Harlem in 1973 by the late Vivian Robinson. Her mission was to build audiences for Black theatre and to honor the artists who keep it alive. Today the awards are affectionately known as “The Vivs” in her memory. For more than half a century they have celebrated excellence in acting, directing, playwriting and design across New York’s stages, from Off-Broadway to the community theatres where many great careers begin.
A nomination from AUDELCO means being recognized by the community that has championed Black theatre for generations.
Congratulations to All the 2026 Nominees
NUNU Radio Media extends heartfelt congratulations to all of this year’s AUDELCO nominees. Your talent, dedication and storytelling keep Black theatre thriving, and we celebrate every one of you.
